Remember me Oh Lord

Psalm 103:1-2 Let all that I am praise the  Lord ;  with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. 2  Let all that I am praise the  Lord ;  may I never forget the good things he does for me. Let's appreciate God for all he has done for us. Let us remember His Goodness. Forgives our sins Heals our diseases Redeems us from death Crowns my life with good things Fills my life with good things Father, I appreciate all that you have done for me and I don't take it for granted Psalm 106: 4-5 Remember me,  Lord , when you show favor to your people;  come near and rescue me. 5  Let me share in the prosperity of your chosen ones.  Let me rejoice in the joy of your people;  let me praise you with those who are your heritage.  Prayers of Thanksgiving for Nigeria 1 Peter 2:9: But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people who are God's own possession. You have become these people so that you may speak of the wonderful acts of the one who called you out of darkness into his amazing light.  Father - Thank You for our country Nigeria. Thank You for choosing us as a nation, as a people. Thank you for setting us aside as your own people. Thank you, Lord 1 Peter 2:10: Once you weren't a people, but now you are God's people. Once you hadn't received mercy but now you have received mercy Father, we thank you for your mercy. But for your mercy Lord, we would have been consumed.  Romans 13:1: Every person should place themselves under the authority of the government. There isn't any authority unless it comes from God and the authorities that are there have been put in place by God Father, we thank you for our leaders. We thank you for those at the helm of affairs. Your word ...
Fresh Oil Ps 92:10 -  But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.   What does fresh connote? It means new, replacing the stale one. Think about the engine oil in the car; after some thousands of kilometres, you need to change it because the engine oil in the vehicle is no longer effective, so it is replaced with a new one. So it is with our Christian lives.  As christians, some of us have been anointed years ago, but since we have not been abiding in God's presence, our anointing has become stale -  Father, today I plead for Your Mercy. Have mercy on me, Lord and renew the anointing on my life. Refresh your anointing on my life.  Father, let there be a revival in my life; as your fresh oil anoints my head, let the Holy Spirit move within my soul.  There are also some of us, we have been anointed for an assignment sometime back, but God is saying it is time to move to greater heights; it is time for another assignm...

Prayers from Psalm 23

Psalm 23 (NLT) vs 1. The  Lord  is my shepherd; I have all that I need. ·        Prayer Point: Father I decree that as I stay under your watch, I shall not be in want for anything good. Everything I need, your hand shall provide. I shall not be in want for a roof over my head, for food on my table vs 2 He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. ·        Prayer Point: Father, today I enter into your rest today. Over everything causing me anxiety, causing me pain, causing me tears, I enter into your rest. I hand over every aspect of my life into your hands Lord. Grant me rest on all sides vs 3He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honour to his name. Father, I place my hands in your hands. I submit my will to yours. Lord lead me. Lead and will go. Father, every promise that you have made for my life, today I declare, they shall begin to manifest. All...

The God that sustains me

In the song “Kosobabire” by Psalmos, Evang. Tope Alabi said “O s’ate mi rogodi, o mu mi duro d’olosinsin”. It basically means that God sustained me during my period of dryness, of hardship until my period of refreshing came. There are times when we feel that we have prayed, we’ve fasted but it looks like the situation remains the same and then we wonder “God why are you silent, why are you not answering me? Why are you not lifting me out of this valley?” It may look like God is silent but be rest assured that even in that period God is sustaining us Lamentations 3:22-24 CEV version The Lord’s kindness never fails! If he had not been merciful, we would have been destroyed.[a] 23 The Lord can always be trusted to show mercy each morning. 24 Deep in my heart, I say, “The Lord is all I need; I can depend on him!” The funny thing is that it is only after this period is over that we acknowledge how God has been keeping us and sustaining us. This is why we must put our trust in God th...

Satan uses fear to distract us

Revelations 12: 1-6 (CEV) Something important appeared in the sky. It was a woman whose clothes were the sun. The moon was under her feet, and a crown made of twelve stars was on her head.  2  She was about to give birth, and she was crying because of the great pain. 3  Something else appeared in the sky. It was a huge red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, and a crown on each of its seven heads.  4  With its tail, it dragged a third of the stars from the sky and threw them down to the earth. Then the dragon turned toward the woman because it wanted to eat her child as soon as it was born. 5  The woman gave birth to a son, who would rule all nations with an iron rod. The boy was snatched away. He was taken to God and placed on his throne.  6  The woman ran into the desert to a place that God had prepared for her. There she would be taken care of for one thousand two hundred sixty days We all know the story very well but when I re...
